Adjustable Sights

all bo-mar style adjustable rear sight installations include: a cross-dovetail front sight of your preference, blending of the sights base and blade edges and the re-bluing of the slide

bo-mar style sights can be installed using three different methods:

sf) buried and rear/side protected – position set forward: the rear sight is low mounted and set forward in the slide so that the rear of the slide protects the rear and the sides of the sight.

sb) buried/side protected - position set back: this is a common installation. the position of the rear blade is slightly forward of the rear of the slide. this allows for a .250” longer sight radius. this is used for the bullseye hard-ball pistols or for someone who prefers a more traditional installation.

nd) no dovetail installation: choose postion method (a) or (b). the rear sight is then mounted into the slide without the cross dovetail cut. this method is done at an additional cost of $40.00.
